Dr. Daniel Pink is head of the department for hematology, oncology and palliative care- Sarcoma Center Berlin-Brandenburg at the Helios Clinic in Bad Saarow, Germany. Dr. Pink graduated from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 1999. In 2006 he specialized in Internal Medicine and thereafter in Medical Haematology/Oncology at the Helios clinics Berlin-Buch and Bad Saarow.

Dr. Pink is one of the Directors of Sarcoma Center Berlin-Brandenburg - one of the largest and most experienced sarcoma centers in Germany. Since more than 20 years he focuses in patient care and clinical research in bone and soft tissue sarcoma includig GIST with an special interest in the increasingly different therapeutic strategies for the various subtypes of sarcoma.

Dr. Pink is the Principal Investigator of several national and international trials on different types of sarcoma. He is active in national and international study groups (AIO, GISG, FLOT-AIO Gastric Cancer Group, EORTC) and patient organizations dealing with sarcomas (Deutsche Sarkomstiftung).

Dr. Pink is the Lead Coordinating Investigator of GISAR, the German Interdisciplinary Sarcoma Registry.
